Carol Lord Openhym, soprano, sings as chorister and soloist in the Towson Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir. She has performed both sacred and operatic repertoire. Carol has appeared as soloist with the Delaware Quartet, the Music Forum at St. Matthew United Church of Christ, and the Ridgley Consort. She is a member of the Annapolis Opera Chorus and has appeared with Municipal Opera as Papagena in Mozart’s The Magic Flute and as Nella in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi. She has sung with the Young Victorian Theatre Company chorus. Carol performed the role of The Page in Annapolis Opera's production of Verdi's Rigoletto in November 2000. She studies voice with Mary Ruzicka in Timonium, Maryland.

In addition to singing, Carol is president of Allegro Automation, Inc., a division of ADSS Global, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in implementing accounting and business software. She lives in Hampton with her husband, George Openhym, and their Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Mimi, Rudy, Flutter and Eve.
